Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

I think San Sebastian is my version of paradise – sun, music, food, drink and beach.

Pintxos (tapas) is what San Sebastian is famous for and it’s lots of fun bar hopping from one bar to the next sampling each bar’s specialty. The stand out bars with the most amazing pintxos were: Txepetxa (for the best anchovies you’ll ever eat), Borda Berri (great risotto), La Cuchara de San Telmo (veal cheeks) and A Fuego Negro (book into the restaurant area and get the tasting menu – we went twice in 5 days!).

Don’t forget to try the ciders and the txakoli (young wine poured from a height) while you’re in San Sebastian too.

Damn, I want to go back again.
