Rainy day in Tokyo
It’s the first real day of rain since I got to Tokyo 6 weeks ago and I am unreasonably excited. I think it was because it’s cooling things down a lot, it sounds so nice and I don’t have to leave the house today.
I just took a couple of photos from outside my house. I wish I had my gumboots (or wellingtons) here with me. My mum is bringing them with her when she comes to visit me in December. Splashing around in puddles will ensue.
Mr Drainy - He's drinking the water!
One of my malnourished plants outside my house thankful for the watering. As Demetri Martin would say, "I'm less nourishing than a desert."
It is such a nice change from the face melting heat. Hello Autumn!
The alleyway next to my house.
The rain through my clear Japanese umbrella.
Yes, I really wish I had my gumboots. I'd be splashing in that right this moment.
