Day 10: I Just Want To See Some Palm Trees

Most of us were feeling a little dusty this morning, so things were moving a liiiiittle bit slowly. When we finally managed to get ourselves out of the house it was about lunchtime and we were pretty hangry. We took a walk beachside to get to Santa Monica for some kind of sustenance.

Later that day we had Welcome Drinks at Shutters in Santa Monica which was incredible and a sign of things to come for the wedding the next day. I think I'll need to sleep for a week after this weekend.

Tim: "Hey Sophia, take a photo of me in front of this sewer."
Me: "Sure."

Looking up toward Malibu. It's not super pretty, but we are standing alongside a highway.

Jess and Tim understand the need to be hydrated so packed their own water bottles on this holiday.

Tried to be healthy and get a salad at Wahoo's Fish Taco. I think it was somewhat good for me? Anyway, it was nice to eat vegetables. And a shrimp taco for good measure.

I always get Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue stuck in my head whenever I am on this street. Funny that.
