Day 9: Heading Beachside
Today was my last day in Silver Lake, which was a little bit sad but I was excited to head beachside to Pacific Palisades where all the wedding festivities would begin.
Adam had just finished up at the bucks party, which sounded like it got ridiculous (apparently Mischa Barton showed up with four guys and was promptly turned away by the groom – !!!). Anyway, Adam was somewhat broken but functioning, so we made our way to our new home for the next five days.
But first, a class at Pop Physique in Silver Lake. These classes make me feel soooo much better about all the eating and drinking we're doing.
Byeeeee Silver Lake!
Lunch at K-Zo in Culver City with a weirdly tanned and sleepy Bozzetto.
The lady next to us ordered hand rolls without rice. Who knew that was a thing?!
Is this a real Eames?!
Our home in Pacific Palisades. Basically my dream home.
Pacific Palisades crew.
Stocking up on the necessities AKA multiple bottles of rosé, beer and packets of corn chips.
A big American beer for a small Australian-Italian man.
Pretty sure Adam is in the middle of chanting "USA! USA!"
In love with the architecture here.
Lushhhhh.
Team Crab. I was concerned that we may have ordered too much crab. I was proven wrong.
Going to town on bags of shrimp. Except for Chris who is allergic to shellfish and doesn't like seafood all that much.
The carnage.
.... And then we went clubbing.*
* Well, we tried to go to the club but the line was too long. We ended up going to The Fairmont's hotel bar for drinks with Pillay which I was totally okay with.
