Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

Day 3: You Smell Like BBQ

Day 3: You Smell Like BBQ

Originally this post was going to be called "My Butt Hurts" but decided against it due to it sounding... lewd. The reason why our butts hurt is because Adam and I decided to try and burn off all the hectic eating we'd been doing with a run around Silver Lake, which involved some of the steepest hills I've run in my life. Hence the sore butts. We'll do it again today because I have no plans in coming back from this megamoon 10kg heavier.

So why "You Smell Like BBQ"? Well, when we got into our Lyft last night at 1am, our driver asked us if we'd been to KBBQ because we smell like it. A little embarrassing but it's true, we stank of meat and charcoal.

Here's what happened on Friday in photo form.

Headed to The Oinkster in Hollywood for some classic burgers with Adam's music friend Craig. We managed to resist fries and just go with a burger, which took a lot of will power. Congratulations to us.

We tried to go to The Broad but the line to get in was 45 minutes, so we used that time to drink cocktails and hip beer on the rooftop at Ace Hotel in DTLA.

Trying not to look like I'm being blown away by the wind.

I just wanted to know what this tasted like. Hint: not great.
