Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

Day 105: What's A Burger Without Fries?

Day 105: What's A Burger Without Fries?

I think we all know by know that Tokyo is serious when it comes to burgers. Today we decided to try one of the most hyped burgers in town – Henry's Burger – in Daikanyama.

We decided to go as soon as they opened to avoid the lines and to also try and score us one of the very few seats in the place. 11am and BOOM, we were there.

They keep things simple here. You either get a cheese burger or a double cheeseburger. That's it. I like it.Unfortunately and confusingly, they didn't have fries at the time which led me to ask "what's a burger without fries?!". Sadly, not 100% sati…

Unfortunately and confusingly, they didn't have fries at the time which led me to ask "what's a burger without fries?!". Sadly, not 100% satisfying but definitely way more healthier, I suppose.

She's a simple burger, but so very, very good. While the bun looks like it could be crunchy (ew) it's actually super soft and holds everything together, like the matriarch of the burger family.

Henry's isn't exactly 'baby friendly" but we made do.

After a really quick lunch at Henry's we headed to Starbucks for a seasonal coffee (apple pie this time) and to give Anri his birthday present. We got him a little Shinkansen card with some money in it and a whale shark toy from Okinawa. We didn't realise this but the whale had a ring pull and then you pulled it the toy would vibrate. It shocked all of us, especially Anri who wasn't about it at all and shortly after this photo was taken started crying.

Ah Japan, the only place in the world I drink Starbucks.
