Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

Day 12: Recovery Day

Day 12: Recovery Day

It's been a pretty full on few days. A lot of fun, but my body is broken. So much drinking, eating and not enough sleep. Sunday was the time to recover... Kind of.

We went to "The House" in Venice for the lazy recovery brunch which ended up being an amazing house just off the beach in Venice Beach with a seemingly endless supply of Veuve, crepes and custom made omelettes.

We then did the tourist thing and walked down the boardwalk which was equal parts gross and amazing on the way to a Mexican restaurant called La Fiesta Brava in Venice. A couple of tacos, enchiladas and free corn chips with hot, hot salsa later we headed home and collapsed in various locations around the house.

And that was it, LA is done. Sad, but excited for New Orleans.

You know you have a big house when there is an elevator inside it.
