Day 68: Real Life Tokyo Drift
The day before, Adam came back from lunch super excited about this sushi train place he and his friend went to. Now, I've been to many sushi trains. I've been to good ones, I've been to not so good ones, hell, I've even worked at one. But this one was probably the most fun and potentially the most delicious one I've ever been to.
Firstly, I don't think you really come to Japan for the sushi trains. It's not exactly the best quality and it might be seen as a little naff? But in this case, I don't care. It's good, plain and simple. Uobei looks like a total tourist trap from the outside (which is why I've never gone in before) – it's in a crowded back street in Shibuya and is always full of hungry looking tourists.
After lunch I headed over to my haircut at Assort Hair in Kita Aoyama. These guys have carved themselves a niche market as the place to go if you're a foreigner needing a haircut or colour.
I usually go to hairdressers in Tokyo because they are way cheaper than haircuts in Sydney and I like the experience (the massages are soooo good). Anyway, nothing drastic happened with my hair, and I forgot to take a picture while I was there so that's that really.
