Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

Day 23: Being Thrifty In Paradise

So travelling for four months means you have to be really careful with your money and work to a daily budget. Wellllll, Adam and I have been consistently and horrifyingly blowing our budget every day so we decided to reign it in for fear of having to go home early.

We slept with the curtains open and were woken up to this gorgeous view.

In an effort to run off 48 hours of pizza, we decided to go for an early morning jog. Not a bad spot for it, plus all those hills make you really work hard.

This beach is one of the reasons we stayed in Praiano. It's in between two cliffs and is so small and cute. Plus there is no sand. Sand is the worst.

Waiting for our boat. Okay, we weren't. We can't afford a boat.

Commencing the long, hot and steep walk home. We tried to take a "short cut" and ended up walking up the equivalent of 61 storeys. I wanted to die/vomit. Eventually we found our way back.

Oh, and how have we been saving money? Well, we've been going to the local shop and buying all of our meals, snacks and drinks from there. Mortadella sandwiches for every meal! We managed to only spend €10 between us for the whole day. I think my Mum would be proud of me.
