Hello.

My husband and I left our lives in Sydney to go travelling for the rest of 2016. What started as a one month honeymoon has turned into a four month adventure.

Day 57: Up In The Air

Touchdown Tokyo! After 12 long and boring hours in the sky, we made it to Narita. It was 8am and our flight out of Haneda wasn't until 3pm, so we had some time to kill. We decided to head to trusty old Shibuya for some delicious tsukemen before boarding yet another plane to get to Naha in Okinawa.

Well, unfortunately available coin lockers have become hard to come by in Shibuya and with no place to leave our big suitcases while we ate lunch and wandered around, the only option we had was to get back on a train and head to the airport early.

Narita Express essentials. I get this every time I get the NEX – a green tea and a tuna mayo onigiri.

It turns out heading to the airport early wasn't all that bad. While we weren't able to jump on an earlier flight, we were able to get a damn tasty soba lunch at one of the airport restaurants. Haneda is a good airport to pass time in – lots of shop…

Adam was super excited about the whisky selection and his Instagram is most likely going to be filled with all the whisky he drinks over the next couple of months.

Our Family Mart "feast". It ain't fancy, but it was exactly what I wanted on this humid, humid night. One more flight till we reach our destination... Ishigaki!
