Day 63: Pool Hangs
I love me a lazy day. I'm also very good at a lazy day.
Today we took full advantage of the resort's facilities. That being the pool and that's about it.
You don't know how many photos I took of these buildings to try and get a good one that showed off the baby pink and Miami vibes.
The extent of our moving on this day was to roll down to Lecco, a pizza place down the road from the resort. Part of the lunch special includes a salad with umibudo (sea grapes) plucked straight from the tank.
The cute restaurant set up.
The size of this was kind of like a personal pan pizza. The base was pretty good and he actually used mozzarella cheese. Not bad for a remote island farrrrr away from Italy!
Smug pizza face.
Blue Seal ice cream was everywhere on the island so I had to give it a go. Pineapple flavour, because that's one of their signature flavours.
There were bits of pineapple (or so I think it was pineapple?) in the sorbet. Eating this in the hot Okinawan sun was a race against time. It was melting faster than I could eat it, hence the serious concentration face.
I case you didn't know I am very much into resort life.
And that was Day 63. Thank you and good night.
